Wat ga je doen?
The Senior Process Engineer holds responsibility for all traditional elements of process engineering. The role involves utilizing process simulation software, such as Design II or Aspen HYSYS, alongside process flow diagrams (PFDs) to perform thermodynamic calculations. These calculations are then converted into specifications.
Throughout plant production, the engineer verifies that construction aligns with the design documents and gathers component certificates. Ensuring that the process engineering design documents accurately represent the as-built structure is a key aspect of the role.
Jouw werkzaamheden
- Generating process design simulations, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), Utility Load Lists, and Equipment Lists. Engaging in project teams and assuming the role of project leader for dispenser and payment terminal development.
- Executing, testing, and producing documentation as an integral part of the product development process.
- Supporting various departments such as R&D, Procurement, and Sales.
Wat heb jij in huis?
- A Bachelor’s or University Degree in Process Engineering or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of work experience is necessary.
- P&ID Development.
- Experience in process engineering calculations, including hydraulics, relief valves, design pressures and temperatures, vessel design, etc., is crucial.
- In-depth familiarity with Aspen HYSYS or Design II is a must.
- Previous project experience in sectors such as Hydrogen, LNG, Specialty Chemicals, among others, is advantageous.
- A good command of both Dutch and English languages is preferred.

- A team player capable of independently leading and executing projects (with a focus on processes).
- Strong communication abilities Flexibility, creativity, initiative-taking, and a readiness to shoulder responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel.
