Assistant Finance Lead
Permanent position for someone with 1-4 years experience, who wants to work together with the Finance team on continuous improvement of processes in order to achieve its mission: Being the knowledge centre in Europe on all supporting processes for this Business unit in Eindhoven..
Wat ga je doen?
Together with the Finance Manager Europe you will be responsible for the continious improvement of the finance department in Europe (4 employees). You are the linking pin between strategic activities and the transactional work done by two of your team members. Responsible for financial reporting of 7 Sales Offices in Europe.
Jouw werkzaamheden
- Assist in monthly and year end closing activities;
- Assist with reporting activities and legal returns such as CBS and VAT returns;
- Identify, follow-up and implement process adjustments/improvements;
- Prepare weekly cash-flow forecasts and realization reports;
- Assist Finance Manager with GL-related tasks;
- Signal and act on any signaled deviations (AR/AP/GL);
- Support AP/AR with daily tasks if needed;
- Ad-hoc (operational) tasks;
- Operate as contact person and knowledge center for the EU countries and HQ.
Wat heb jij in huis?
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Accounting;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar working environment;
- Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel);
- Affinity with IT, experience with Exact Globe is a plus;
- Teamplayer, proactive, critical thinker, problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills.
